Heather has over twenty years of leadership experience at the highest levels. And while her calling and commitment to the local church is foremost, Heather is a much sought after leader, speaker, and leadership coach. Her direct and disarming communication style gives her a unique voice of both compassion and challenge. Her driving purpose is to help others unlock their potential and live courageous and fulfilling lives.

Heather is currently the Lead Pastor at Freedom House, located in the Greater Indianapolis Area. Prior to Freedom House, she served on 12Stone Church’s Central Campus Leadership Team in Atlanta, Georgia. Before 12Stone, she served as Lead Pastor of Red Cedar Church in Rice Lake, Wisconsin. Over the tenure of her leadership, Heather’s visionary leadership style has led declining churches to become growing and flourishing hubs of their communities. Restoring an organization to growth and health is both her gifting and joy!   

Heather is also a graduate of Southern Wesleyan University, received her master’s degree from Nazarene Theological Seminary, and is now in the doctoral phase of her education. She has been married to Jeff Semple for over 25 years and together they have two daughters, Ailee (22), Bella (18) and son, Judah (14).
